Friday 19th September – Double Delight!
Friday nights are always a big deal at Fifty20 HQ, but this one was a proper milestone: our first ever double draw night. Two winners, two live streams, and one slightly frazzled presenter (me).
We kicked things off at 8:30pm on YouTube with the £1,000 cash draw, then followed it up with our traditional 9pm Facebook draw—this time for the e-bike.
£1,000 Cash Draw – Neil’s Big Win
It was me on presenting duties (taking one for the team), with Ram by my side making sure the stream actually worked this time. He’s basically my tech support, hype man, and occasional teacher—he did give me a crash course in producing a couple of weeks ago. Admittedly, the WiFi tried to sabotage us back then, but he still gets the credit.
This draw was short, sweet, and the best kind of chaos. We got to ring up our lucky winner Neil, who walked away £1,000 richer thanks to ticket #34.
Neil wasn’t watching the live (we forgive you, Neil), and when we told him he’d won, he was so stunned I thought he might have forgotten he’d even entered. Turns out he had, and he’d played a few times before, so this was his first big win—and the fact he’s a local lad from just 10 miles away made it even better. Yorkshire supporting Yorkshire.
When asked what he’d do with the money, Neil said he might put some of it back into more comps. He’s got his eye on a watch—maybe the Rolex Explorer, or perhaps our new competition: the Omega Speedmaster has caught his attention. Meanwhile, I confessed I’d blow mine on a holiday, and Ram decided against his original plan of splurging on an Everyman cinema membership. Sensible man.
E-Bike Draw – Richard’s Surprise Cash Out
Next up at 9pm, Sophie joined me on presenting duties for the e-bike competition. The winner? Richard, with lucky ticket #3466. Sadly, he didn’t pick up when we rang during the live—note to all future winners: if you see a number ending in 951 calling you around 9pm, ANSWER IT. We promise it’s good news.
Richard later got in touch and decided to take the cash alternative instead of the bike. So instead of pedalling away into the sunset, he’s now £1,250 richer. Honestly, fair play—the bike wasn’t quite as popular as we expected, but cold hard cash never goes out of fashion.
New Competitions – Omega Speedmaster & iPhone 17 Pro Max
We’ve just launched two brand-new competitions that we think you’ll love:

iPhone 17 Pro Max
Apple’s biggest and boldest iPhone yet:
