BOTB 

 

Best of the Best, or BOTB, was started decades ago (1999) by car enthusiast Will Hindmarch and for most of the company’s career they were focused on raffling high value cars that were on display in airport lounges with physical tickets (and often quite high value too). 

 

Unlike most of the comps sites online, BOTB offers multiple different prizes which can be won from the same draw, with different price points per player depending on the value of the prize the player picks - but everyone goes into the same draw and the number of tickets is not limited, so the more people that enter, the greater the odds of winning can be… and the more profits BOTB will make.

 

They use a spot the ball style method of entry as opposed to the free entry alt or multiple choice question, and they also don’t have the prizes they offer in hand - preferring to rely on using stock imagery to showcase their prizes and obviously getting hold of the winner’s choice quickly after the draw to ensure delivery. They are possibly the most trustworthy business out there (other than Fifty20 of course!) given their very long history and very many winners videos on YouTube.

 

BOTB disposed of all of their airport concessions and took the business entirely online in the latter part of the 2010’s and scored huge profits during Covid 19 with their unlimited business model. It was bought out by the the former owner of massive online gambling provider Playtech in 2024 and we expect to see them moving more towards a gambling style business to leverage the old BOTB player database using slots and instant games featured on a UK Gambling Commission regulated element of the site soon - well that’s we reckon anyway, but maybe we’d had too much beer!
